Insight

The spirits category, especially añejo tequilas, is one saturated with the trappings of celebrations — from bottle service in dark clubs to tuxedoes and cigars.

Idea

Higher taste in life’s moments is always within reach, and in this case, on the top shelf. When you take the agency to reach for what you want and go against the status quo, that’s something to celebrate.

Role

Concepted, sold and crafted the idea with my partner. We worked with Jenn Nkiru, a director notorious for her work with Beyoncé, to tell a story that portrays a heroine taking matters of the evening into her own hands and reaching for something higher.

FILM

Fun Fact: Both Jenn Nkiru and Kali Uchis won their first Grammys on set. It was a moment turned into a celebration.
